These terms govern the booking, payment, and provision of excursions, boat tours, transfers, and any related services offered by MauriTrip and its affiliated service providers.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By using our website and services, you acknowledge and accept these Terms & Conditions, as well as any additional policies or guidelines provided by MauriTrip.

2. Booking & Payment

• All bookings are confirmed upon receipt of full payment or a specified deposit.
• Prices are listed in Euros and include applicable taxes unless otherwise stated.

3. Cancellation & Refund Policy

Cancellation by Clients

• More than 7 days before the scheduled excursion: Full refund (minus transaction fees).
• 3 to 7 days before the excursion: 50% refund.
• Less than 72 hours before the excursion: No refund.
• No-shows are not eligible for a refund.

Rescheduling

• Rescheduling requests must be made at least 72 hours before the excursion and are subject to availability
• Requests made within 72 hours of the excursion may incur a 20% rescheduling fee.

Cancellation by MauriTrip

If we cancel an excursion due to weather, safety concerns, or unforeseen circumstances, clients will be offered:

• A full refund, OR
• The option to reschedule at no additional cost.

4. Liability & Safety

• MauriTrip acts as a facilitator for excursions and transfers but is not liable for personal injuries, loss, or damage to personal property.
• Clients participate in activities at their own risk and must adhere to all safety instructions provided by our guides and crew.
• Life jackets must be worn where required, and safety regulations must be followed at all times.
• Any damage or loss caused to a boat or equipment by passengers will be the responsibility of the individual or group involved.
• We reserve the right to refuse service to any individual or group who fails to comply with safety rules or disrupts the experience of others.

5. Client Responsibilities

• Clients must arrive on time for their scheduled excursions. Late arrivals may result in forfeited bookings without refunds.
• Any medical conditions that could affect participation must be disclosed at the time of booking.

6. Privacy & Data Protection

• We respect client privacy and ensure that personal data is securely stored and used only for booking purposes.
• MauriTrip will never share client information with third parties, except when required for reservations or legal compliance.

7. Intellectual Property

• All content on our website (text, graphics, etc.) is the property of MauriTrip and is protected by copyright laws.
• Unauthorized use of our trademarks, logos, or content may result in legal action.

8. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

• These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of Mauritius.
• Any disputes will be resolved under the jurisdiction of the Mauritian courts.
• Clients are encouraged to contact us first to seek a resolution before pursuing legal action.

9. Changes to Terms & Conditions

• MauriTrip reserves the right to update these Terms & Conditions at any time without prior notice.
• Continued use of our services after changes are made will constitute acceptance of the revised terms.
